At Ethereal Muse, our jewellery are all crafted from:

• 14k Solid Gold (AU585)
• Sterling Silver (925)
• Gold Vermeil (on Sterling Silver 925)
• Surgical Stainless Steel (316L)

Our gold-plated jewellery are created from electroplating 2-3x microns thickness of 18k gold on sterling silver or surgical steel, making them hypoallergenic and kind on your skin.

Jewellery Care

To ensure the quality, beauty and longevity of your jewellery lasts for many years to come, we recommend to take the following steps to care for your pieces. 

• For our gold-vermeil and sterling silver pieces, please refrain from wearing them in water for prolonged periods of time or from exposing the pieces to harsh chemicals (household products, sunscreen, perfume, lotions, sweat, etc).
• Store your jewellery in a cool, dry spot and avoid humidity when not being worn.  
• All non-solid gold jewellery are prone to oxidisation over time, especially when exposed to environmental factors like air pollution, moisture, and items that contain sulfur. 
• However, it is easy to restore the shine of gold vermeil and sterling silver jewellery by giving it with a quick polish with out polish cloths that come with your order. 
• Our gold-plated stainless steel jewellery are non-tarnish and water resistant, however it is recommended to also take care with these pieces to ensure their sparkle and shine lasts for a long time!
