+What is gold vermeil?
Unlike regular gold plating, gold vermeil refers to a thick layer of gold (usually 2.5-3 microns) plated on top of a sterling silver base. Therefore, gold vermeil jewellery tends to be more hypoallergenic as it uses sterling silver (925) as the base, and is safe and kind to your skin!
